Our Three Year Old Teachers
Jane and Jody
Jane is originally from Long Island but lived most of her life near Tampa, FL. She and her husband moved to Smyrna in the beginning of 2003 and they have two grown children. She has been teaching young children for about 15 years. Jane changed careers because she wanted to do something that she felt was important and help change the future of our children. Jane enjoys cooking and antiquing. Goals for her three-year old class include teaching them respect, manners, and self-control so that they can be successful throughout the rest of their school years.

Jody was born in Missouri and moved to TN in 1986. She and her husband have two school aged boys. Jody has been teaching young children for three years and entered the field because she wanted to help the next generation to grow and succeed. Her hobbies include reading, walking, and watching her boys race BMX. Her goals for their classroom include teaching children to love one another as God loves us, self-control, and respect for themselves and others.

Kim is starting her second year here at Lancaster; she has over eight years of teaching experience and is a mother of three. Her oldest daughter (Courtney) is 22 and also a teacher here at the ELC. Alissa is a junior at UTC and is also working here for the summer. Her son Timothy just graduated High School and will be attending MTSU in the fall. Kim has been married for almost 24 years! She was born and raised in California and has lived in Tennessee for the past 6 years. In her class over the summer she is focusing on manners, being kind, and responsibility. She loves doing art projects that incorporate colors, numbers, and letters.

Beth is currently pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education from Motlow State. She has a two year old son named Abraham that is enrolled in our two year old program. In her spare time, Beth loves scrapbooking, playing softball, and being outdoors.

Gloria and Jean
Jean is from McMinnville, TN and graduated from Warren County High School in 1980. She and her husband Roger have been married for 25 years and have two children – Sabrina, age 10 and Shane, age 13. In her spare time she enjoys camping, fishing, shopping, playing scrabble, volleyball, and sitting by the fire.
