Our three year old department incorporates both learning and play into a structured daily schedule. In order to enter the three year old program, children must be potty trained and screened for readiness. Following the Abeka curriculum, children are taught phonics, basic tracing, numbers, and counting. Reviewed skills include shapes, colors, and letters. Students work to refine small motor skills such as holding a pencil and cutting on a line. Teachers encourage independence, self-control, manners, and positive relationships. Parents are provided with a condensed daily report indicating their child’s behavior during specific activities throughout the week.
